Pita Pizzas are one of our family favorites! You can easily use pita bread to make pizzas that are easy to customize and practically foolproof – nothing to prep or flip! This is also a great meal idea if you have lots of different pizza topping lovers in the family — you can whip up different individualized pita pizzas at the same time. Hands down toppings favorite: Sausage Apple!

4 pieces Pita bread ( I used Joseph's brand )
1 T Olive oil
1 t Olive oil ( Used for a separate step )
1 1/2 t Italian seasoning
1 Green apple ( Sliced to 1/8 inch thickness )
1 cup Cooked ground sausage
