Shortcut Baharat Spice Blend

3 tbsp
1/2 tsp black peppercorns
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
2 cardamom pods
2 cloves

In a small nonstick skillet over medium heat, add all of the whole spices. Toast the spices, stirring frequently, until they become fragrant. Grind the toasted spices together with the allspice and nutmeg.
