Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup that can be made with chicken or beef. Shortcut Chicken Pho is an easier way to cook pho without sacrificing the amazing pho flavor. 1 4 inch piece of ginger ( cut in half with the skin on )
1 shallot ( cut in half with the skin on )
3 garlic cloves ( in their skin )
3 star anise pods
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon whole peppercorn
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
4 bone-in chicken thighs ( skin removed )
4 cups high-quality chicken bone broth
3 cups water
1-2 tablespoons fish sauce
1-2 tablespoons honey
8 oz rice noodles ( cooked according to the package )
