Simple Homemade Coleslaw

"I think you will be surprised by how easy it is to make Homemade Coleslaw. The prices of prepared salads, like coleslaw, are quite expensive at my local grocery store. Making my own coleslaw recipe at home, saves time and money.Once upon a time, I would have shredded my own cabbage and carrots. Nowadays I usually stick to the prepackaged coleslaw mix. It's a bit more colorful with the purple cabbage, green cabbage and carrots all mixed together. Plus, there's less clean-up time. I'll have to confess that I am a mess in the kitchen, and buying the bagged mix saves me so much time."

3 cups Cabbage ( shredded )
3 cups Carrots ( shredded )
5 tablespoons Light Mayonaise
.25 cup Plain Fat Free Yogurt
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Honey
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  1. Whisk together sauce or dressing ingredients until well blended
  2. Stir in cabbage mixture until all is coated.
  3. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
