Skinny Apple German Pancakes

These Apple German Pancakes are super easy to make and only take a few wholesome ingredients!

5 Tablespoons butter
1 tsp cinnamon or more to sprinkle the whole bottom of the pan
2 cups thinly sliced peeled apples (about 2 medium)
1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour (I\'ve only used the pastry flour but you could probably use regular whole wheat, it will probably taste a bit different)
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt

3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 c salted butter
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cornmeal, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, corn syrup and vanilla; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
