Slow Cooker Caramel

I saw a thread discussing caramel on a baking group I am a member of and thought I had to try this. It was so easy and I can’t wait to use it in different recipes. I bought three cans of sweetened condensed milk and poured each one into a jar (small enough that they would fit in my slow cooker). They happened to have jars on sale with an in-store coupon, so I bought a pack of four. You can use the cans just make sure to take the label off and put a towel underneath them to avoid rust stain
