Clam Chowder made simple - in the slow cooker

4 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams with juice
1 pack bacon- cooked
1 medium onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
6 medium potatoes (russet or red) - peeled & chopped
1 cup clam juice from your cans
4 cups chicken broth
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp dried dill
1 tsp fresh parsley
1 cup half & half
2 cups milk
4-6 tbsp corn starch
1/2-2 cups instant potato flakes
