2 slices bread, toasted (option: gluten-free bread)
1/2 avocado, mashed
1/2 cup chickpeas, rinsed and mashed
2 tbsp red bell pepper, diced
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1/2 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tbsp chopped fresh Italian flat leaf parsley
salt and pepper, to taste
