Smoker Legs and Thighs

My son, Reese, has started to create some really good things in his little charcoal smoker. Recently he smoked some chicken quarters that turned out so good. I appreciate Reese sharing this with us.

One package each of legs and thighs.
Dry Rub:
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 tablespoon black pepper
Dry Rub:
2 tablespoons paprika

3/4 tablespoon black pepper
Rinse chicken and dry with paper towels. Coat liberally with the dry rub and massage into the skin. Smoke at 250 - 275 until the internal temperature is 165. Flavor with smoke from your favorite wood chips.
