Perfect for New Year's Day (or any other cool evening), this Southern Chili recipe is a reader favorite! It's loaded with Cajun seasoning, black eyed peas, pork sausage and ground beef for an easy dinner that's full of flavor.

1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 medium onion
1/2 c chopped green bell pepper
1/2 c chopped red bell pepper
1 T finely minced fresh garlic
15 oz can tomato sauce
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
15.8 oz can black eyed peas
15.25 oz can corn kernels
14.5 oz can beef broth
