1/2 cup finely chopped toasted pecans
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
4 large eggs
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup lightest flavored olive oil
Scant 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 ( 15-ounce can pumpkin puree )
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
