Delicious orange steamed sponge pudding cake

Serves 4:

Ramekin dishes
2 eggs
100g self-raising flour
100g unsalted butter
100g caster sugar
4 tablespoons golden syrup
2 oranges - zest and juice
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1. Mix together the butter and sugar. 2. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mix - stir in. 3. Beat in the eggs one at a time. 4. Add the milk, orange zest and juice and beat well. 5. Butter the inside of the ramekin dishes and put a tablespoon of golden syrup in the bottom of each dish. 6. Pour the batter over the syrup. 7. Fasten tin foil loosely across the top to double as a lid. 8. Put the dishes in a steamer and cook for 40 minutes.
