Stuffed Crust Pizza

I know how to take a hint so it wasn't long before I headed into the kitchen and got to work on this delicious, homemade yumminess!

It's so easy to make and so filling. My boys love that they can help choose the toppings when we make pizza at home.

FOR THE DOUGH:
1 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 package yeast
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
FOR THE TOPPINGS:
pizza sauce
pepperoni
1 spicy sausage link ( cooked )
5 bacon strips ( cooked, chopped )
1/2 jalapeno ( sliced )
2 small peppers ( sliced )
1/3 cup ricotta cheese ( )
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 whole milk mozzarella cheese sticks ( cut into 1 inch pieces )
  • In a small measuring cup, add warm water (approx. 80 degrees), sugar and yeast. Let sit until yeast starts to bubble and activate.

Stewed Okra and Tomatoes is a classic Southern dish! Flavored with bacon, onion, garlic and cider vinegar, you know these vegetables are bound to be good. 3 slices thick cut bacon
1 small Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
2 15.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
1/2 t apple cider vinegar
1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
2 c fresh or frozen okra
