1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 c. water
2 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 onion ( minced )
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Gravy:
1 c. water
1 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Egg noodles ( cooked and drained )
1/2 c. water
2 c. bread crumbs

1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Gravy:
1 c. water
1 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Egg noodles ( cooked and drained )
Mix all ingredients for meatballs. Form into balls and brown in the frying pan or under the broiler. Transfer to a 2 quart casserole dish.
Mix gravy ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
