Sometimes all you want is to cook a single sweet potato for yourself. Is it really necessary to heat up and oven and wait an hour for it to bake? Absolutely not. You can have your sweet potato cooked in a microwave and spend only a few minutes.

  • Step 1Poke sweet potato all over with a paring knife.
  • Step 2Place sweet potato in a covered microwave-safe dish and heat on high for 3 minutes.
