This is the best banana nut bread recipe you'll ever find. It's so fluffy and moist and light, you won't believe your taste buds. And the recipe is so easy!

2 c flour ( sifted )
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c salted butter ( softened )
2/3 c granulated sugar
2 Tbsp brown sugar ( packed )
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 c overripe bananas ( smashed )
1/2 c chopped walnuts ( optional )
Vegetable shortening ( for greasing pan )

Skinny Banana Bread

Moist and lightly sweetened Skinny Banana Bread – made with bananas, coconut oil, cinnamon, and whole wheat flour.

1/3 cup melted coconut oil
¼ cup honey
¼ cup pure maple syrup
2 eggs
3 large bananas ( mashed )
¼ cup buttermilk ( or any milk of your choice )
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1¾ cups whole wheat pastry flour
optional (½ cup) chopped walnuts ( chocolate chips, raisins, or any other add ins you like )
