With regards to making your pizza a little healthier, think of your nutrition as really made or busted in 2 places: the crust and the toppings. The following recipe will take care of a healthier crust for you, but what about the toppings? I would encourage you not to reach straight for the pepperoni and extra cheese. Instead, here are some healthy pizza toppings that you can try instead: Meat: Ham Turkey sausage Turkey pepperoni (they actually make turkey pepperoni – it’s actually really good!

1 envelope ( 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast )
1/2-2/3 cup warm water, (100-110; I usually go by feel – as hot as you could stand to still comfortably wash your face in!)
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
