Thai Basil Chicken recipe is AMAZING! --restaurant quality made from scratch! And it makes an easy and delicious 30-minute meal!

1 Tbsp canola oil
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
¼ tsp red pepper flakes, or more to taste
1 onion, sliced into thin strips (I use purple onion, but any kind will work)
1 bell pepper (any color), sliced into thin strips
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
¼ cup oyster sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 bunch fresh basil (about ½ cup), torn into pieces
