The Best Chicken Salad

Yummy chicken salad that everyone will love!

Rotisserie Chicken
1/4 Cup Light sour cream
1/4 Cup Italian dressing light
1/8 Cup Yellow mustard
4 Tbsp Pickle juice
2 Tbsp Garlic seasoning
2 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Red pepper flakes
1/2 Cup Chopped onion
1 Tbsp Onion powder
Pepperjack cheese (Reduced fat)
Pita bread (Whole wheat or multigrain)
Remove chicken from bone and shredd in a large mixing bowl. Add rest of ingredients (except cheese and pita bread) and mix together well. Place pepperjack cheese inside pita bread pocket then spoon chicken salad inside. Place pita inside toaster oven and toast until pita bread is lightly browned. Enjoy!!

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
