Trick-or-Treat Loot Cake

The ultimate Halloween party cake, loaded with colorful candies. It\\\'s sure to be a hit!

1 box (15.25 oz.) yellow cake mix
2 large eggs
1 can (8 oz.) or 1 c. 7UP®
1/2 cup oil
6 drops orange food coloring (optional)
Candy for decorating
A double recipe of Vanilla Buttercream Frosting or the same amount of vanilla or cream cheese frosting from the can

{VANILLA BUTTERCREAM FROSTING}
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Milk for thinning
