Turkey Pot Pie Lollipops

I love food on a stick, I can’t help it! Who doesn’t like to eat something off of a stick? I mean, come on…it’s on a stick for goodness sake. These cute little guys certainly are a fun way for your kiddos to eat leftovers.

For the filling:
1/2 cup cooked turkey, chopped into ¼ inch chunks
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon butter
1 carrot, chopped finely
¼ cup minced onion
½ cup fresh white mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/8 tsp fresh thyme, chopped finely
2 tablespoon flour
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup half & half
½ cup frozen peas, thawed
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons dry white wine (optional)
