Vegan Buffalo Seitan Burgers

It is almost burger and grilling season! I love to try different vegan burger recipes this time of the year. One of my favorite vegan meat substitutes is seitan. Because it has the texture that is similar to chicken, it works as a substitute for chicken burgers. Made with a spicy vegan buffalo sauce and loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, and vegan ranch dressing.

1 cup Vegetable broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup vital wheat gluten
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup vegan butter ( melted )
1/2 cup Frank's hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Vegan ranch dressing ( for serving )
6 hamburger buns
