Vegan Cheesy Broccoli and Brown Rice Pilaf

300 g. brown rice
liters 1 quart vegetable stock
250 g. broccoli florets
For the Cheese Sauce
30 ml. olive oil
20 g. gluten-free all-purpose flour
250 ml. almond milk
15 g. whole-grain mustard
20 g. nutritional yeast
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper powder
¼ tsp. salt
