1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup raw walnuts
1/4 cup raw cashews
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp nooch
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp soy sauce
1 1/2 cups vital wheat gluten
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a food processor, add all of the ingredients from chickpeas through pepper. Pulse until the nuts are broken into very small pieces, but do not puree completely....

Marinated Taro Root

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
