Veggie Turky Platter
4
This is such a cute way to display veggies on Thanksgiving, and any time around there. And it's very easy to put together.
1 cucumber
1 -1 1/2 lbs broccoli crowns
1 lb baby carrots
grape tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
2 raisons
1 -1 1/2 lbs broccoli crowns
1 lb baby carrots
grape tomatoes
1 bunch of celery
2 raisons
Slice the cucumbers into 1/4 inch thick circles.
Trim tops and bottoms off of celery, saving two small pieces of the top flowers stalk. Cut each stalk into 1 - 1 1/2 inch long pieces.
Arrange the cucumber slices into a cluster of 5 stacks in the middle bottom of a round platter. Fan out the celery above the cucumbers. Repeat this step with the grape tomatoes.
Fan the baby carrots out above the tomatoes and bring them all the way down to the bottom of the tray. Repeat with the broccoli, fanning it down to the bottom on each side.
Place raisons on the center pile of cucumbers for the eyes of the turkey. Then cut a small sliver of a carrot to make the gobbler and a chunk for the nose.
Enjoy snacking on any leftovers not needed for the tray.
Serve with Ranch dip and enjoy!
