Wagyu Top Round Steak with Salsa & Cheese Pupusas

A popular dish in El Salvador and Honduras, pupusas are thick griddle cakes. We've stuffed our pupusas with cheese and topped them with grilled and marinated Fullblood Wagyu steak, as well as tropical salsa. If you're looking for a flavorful dish that pleases the palate, we recommend this recipe!

1 Double 8 Cattle Company Top Round Steak Tenderized
Marinade :
1 cup Mango and Pineapple Juice
1/2 cup Grapeseed Oil
4 Garlic Cloves ( smashed )
1/2 cup Cilantro ( stems and leaves )
2 tsp. Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 Lime ( juiced )
Tropical Salsa :
1 Large Ripe Mango ( small diced )
1/2 Pineapple ( small diced )
1 Small Red Onion ( small diced )
2 Jalapenos ( seeded, small diced )
3 Garlic Cloves ( minced )
1/2 cup Cilantro ( leaves only, minced )
2 Roma Tomatoes ( small diced )
1 Large Avocado ( small diced )
1 Lime ( juiced )
to taste Kosher Salt
to taste Black Pepper
Cheese Pupusas:
3 cups Instant Corn Masa Flour
3 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 2/3 cups Hot Water
8 oz. Jack Cheese
"No Stick" Mixture:
1/3 cup Oil
1 cup Warm Water

FIRST STEP

Take the Fullblood Wagyu top round steak (tenderized) out of the freezer, and place it in the refrigerator 24 hours before starting this recipe.
