Fudge Filled Chocolate Chip Cookies

When Swiss Maid Fudge asked us to come up with a recipe incorporating their fudge, I thought that it would be best to keep it simple. One of my favorite desserts is a classic chocolate chip cookie (especially when they are warm and gooey straight out of the oven) and I decided that placing a piece of delicious fudge in the middle could only make things better! The Swiss Maid fudge was so amazing in these cookies . . . but I barely had enough to use in the cookies because my family kept sneaking

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 package (11-12 oz) milk chocolate chips
1/2 lb Swiss Maid Milk Chocolate Fudge*, cut into pieces (can also use any chocolate, rolos, or reeses)
