Salted Honey Pie

A flakey, buttery pie crust paired with a creamy honey custard! A touch of sea salt finishes this pie to perfection.

Crust:
2-1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. unsalted butter, chilled
3/4 c. vegetable shortening, chilled
1/2 c. iced water

Honey Custard Filling:
1 c. whole milk
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1/2 c. honey
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 to 4 pinches Fleur de Sel [or large flakey sea salt]
