Frankie is one among the popular street food originated from the vendors of 1930’s Old Mumbai. Flat bread of whole wheat or all purpose flour is prepared and stuffed with vegetable or chicken patties, lots of onions and seasoned according to the tastebuds of the individual. So, basically you can call it Mumbai burrito.

Vegetables:
2 Medium sized Potatoes
200 Grams Brocolli
6-8 Baby carrots
1 Big onion , thinly sliced
For Tikkis / Patties:
1 to 2 green chilies , finely chopped
1/2 Teaspoon Dhania Powder/ Coriander powder
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder/ Cumin powder
1 Teaspoon Grated Garlic
1 Teaspoon Grated Ginger
2 Green chilies , chopped fine
1 Tablespoon lime or lemon juice
1/2 Teaspoon Chaat masala
2-3 Tablespoons chopped Dania / Coriander leaves
1/2 Cup Semolina or bread crumbs for dusting
Salt as required
2 Tablespoons oil for shallow fry
Curd/Yogurt Sauce :
1 Cup whisked Curd/ Yogurt
1 Tablespoon chopped Coriander leaves
1/2 Teaspoon Chaat masala
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Sugar(adjust according to how sweet you want)
For Roti:
1 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour + little extra for dusting
1 Teaspoon Oil
1/2 Cup water
Salt
Extra Ingredient:
2-3 Tablespoons Ghee (Clarified butter) to apply on roti
