Almond Strawberry Oat Breakfast Smoothie

Breakfast doesn’t need to be complicated. Even getting a healthy breakfast doesn’t have to be hard. Really! I promise! I am a big fan of smoothies because you can pack so much into it! I make them for my boys and I make them for myself (usually different since I’m not a fan of the bananas and they are in love with them!). This recipe is really simple but it packs a nutritional punch for sure. As a note I used 1 1/2 C of Almond milk, but this could be made with 1. I also used frozen strawb

1 - 1 1/2 C unsweetened almond milk (1 cup will be thicker - make to your liking)
1 C strawberries (frozen let them thaw a bit)
1/4 C oats (uncooked)
1/2 tsp almond extract (optional for flavor)

Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend
Pour into to go cup and you have breakfast on the go
