The apple cake with whole apples is a very delicious recipe, very easy to prepare, without much trouble, and after trying it once, you will definitely want to repeat the experience. The apples, cinnamon, nuts and the caramel, all match perfectly.

For the apple filling
7-10 apples (depending on size; I used 10)
50 g = 2 oz butter
6 tablespoons sugar
juice from 1 lemon
cinnamon as preferred
grounded nuts as preferred ( I actually smashed them instead of grounding as I like crunchy)
For the batter
4 eggs
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons flour
8 gr = 0.25 oz vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
