Creamy oats, packed with spice and applesauce topped with a homemade apple pie filling make these the perfect start to your day!

For the oats:
2 cups rolled oats, not quick cook
3/4tsp ground cinnamon
1/8tsp ground nutmeg
2tbsp natural sweetener, such as Truvia OR 4tbsp caster sugar
1/3 cup applesauce
1 cup milk
For the apple pie filling:
1 medium apple or 2 small, peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2 inch chunks
1tbsp cornflour
1/2tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1 and 1/2tbsp natural sweetener OR 3tbsp caster sugar
1/2 cup water
