These Bakery Style Strawberry Crumble Muffins are perfectly sweetened and tender with juicy strawberries and warm spices!

For the Muffins
3 C all-purpose flour
1 C sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1¼ tsp cinnamon
¾ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1½ C plain yogurt
2 large eggs
8 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
1¼ C finely chopped strawberries
For the Topping
½ C all-purpose flour
½ C brown sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
½ C butter, cold

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
