Beef and Noodle Casserole Recipe

It's the perfect meal for those busy weeknights when you have piano lessons, soccer practice, tumbling, and dance all on the same night. ;)

1 lb lean ground beef
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz) package wide egg noodles, uncooked
¾ cup sour cream
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
½ cup green onions, finely diced
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook egg noodles following directions on packaging. Rinse noodles in cold water and drain. While noodles are cooking, brown hamburger and add garlic salt and salt and pepper....

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
