Lord Ganesha loves to eat modaks and laddoos and that is why on the day of Ganesh chaturthi, people serve laddoos to Him during the puja Laddoos can be made out of various things. Boondi, sattu, besan, malai etc. Are some of the most used ingredients used to make laddoos. Besan laddoos are especially loved by most people as they have a unique taste and flavour.

Besan flour- 1 cup 1 cup Besan Flour
1/2 powdered sugar
3 tbsp ghee
cashew chopped
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
1/2 tbsp chopped pistachio for garnishing
Sieve the besan flour and keep it aside Heat ghee in a pan and add sieved besan to it. Keep stirring for 6-7 minutes till the besan gets roasted properly and turns golden brown. Then add the cardamon powder and mix well. Switch off flame. take mixture in one bowl. wait for little bit cool down.(not much more) then add cashews and powdered sugar mix it well. if mixture much more dry then add spoon of melted ghee. Grease your palms with ghee and start kneading the flour in to a dough. Then make lemon size ball and garnish with pistachio. Besan ladoo is ready for served store in airtight container
