Tangy buffalo chicken and roasted green peppers slathered in melted provolone cheese...Delicious!

6
1 pound chicken breasts, stripped
2 green peppers, sliced thick
1/3 white onion, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Hoagie buns
Provolone cheese

Marinade:

2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons buffalo sauce
2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1. Mix together the marinade and marinate the chicken for at least and hour. 2. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and onion. Saute until the garlic begins to brown. 3. Add the peppers and saute for about 3 minutes. Then add the chicken and cook through. 4. Turn the heat down and allow the chicken to simmer for about 15 minutes until tender. If the mixture is too "saucy," mix together a tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in warm water and add to the chicken until the sauce coats the meat. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. 5. To assemble your sandwiches, cut the buns in half. Stuff with the chicken mixture and top with provolone cheese. 6. Wrap the sandwich tightly in tin foil and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. 7. Unwrap and ENJOY! Recommended to be served with Baked Savory Fries.
