1/2 cup butter (1 cube)
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp sugar
water enough to fill pot half way
salt and pepper to taste

Fill a large pot half way with water and bring to a soft boil.
Add butter,milk and sugar to the pot and bring to a simmer.
Put corn carefully in the pot and turn temperature down to a simmer.
