Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
2
For most people, ranch is a favorite dressing. Have you ever tried making your own? It is simple and FABULOUS! I have used this ranch dressing as a dip, a sauce for salmon sandwiches and, of course, a dressing for salads. The possibilities are endless and since it's a little thicker than store bought dressing it is way more versatile!

1 c. light mayonnaise
1/2 c. plain greek yogurt (I used Fage)
1/2 c. buttermilk, shaken
1/2 c. fresh basil, chopped
2 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 T. Dijon mustard
1 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
1 c. light mayonnaise
1/2 c. plain greek yogurt (I used Fage)

Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to combine, scraping down the sides as needed. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. This will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
