Butternut Squash Brulee

Sweet, creamy butternut squash custard topped with crunchy caramelized sugar. This is a brulee you will want to make over and over again.

2¾ cups butternut squash, cubed
3 Tbs light brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
? tsp ground nutmeg
? tsp ground cloves
1½ cups heavy cream
4 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
3 Tbs white sugar
Place butternut squash in a small sauce pan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over medium heat, let cook for 10 minutes or until squash is tender. Drain well. Preheat the oven to 300F degrees....
