Cake Batter Rice Krispy Treats

A delicious take on rice krispy treats with a cake twist!

4 tbsp butter (1/2 stick)
6 cups rice krispie cereal
1 bag (10.5 oz) mini marshmallows – about 6 cups
2/3 cups vanilla cake mix (dry)
1 bag white chocolate chips
1/4 cup sprinkles
Spray a 11x7 baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows, stirring constantly. Once the marshmallows are completely melted, stir in the dry cake mix. Remove pan from heat. Stir in the cereal until it is completely coated with the marshmallow mixture. Mix in half of the sprinkles. Press into prepared baking pan and set aside.
