My roommate gave this recipe, and I think they are my new favorite dessert. They were so easy to make, and they taste phenomenal. They are gooey, yet stay together. They are a quick dessert for when you are in a bunch, and if you love caramel and chocolate, you will fall in love with these Carmelitas.

11 ounce bag of caramel bits (or you can use a bag of caramel squares)
½ cup heavy cream
¾ cup butter melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup oats
1 cup flour
12 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate)

In a small saucepan combine the caramel and the heavy whipping cream.
