1 tablespoon canola oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, fat trimmed off and cut into 1-inch pieces
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 cups cooked white rice
1 green onion, thinly sliced
