Quinoa bars made with pistachios, chocolate chips, and dates. Satisfy your cravings with this low fat and delicious snack option.

1 cup pistachios, shelled and chopped
½ cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed and drained
1 cup pitted dates
2 Tbs agave syrup
¾ tsp salt
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Spread the quinoa and pistachios in an even layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly brown and toasted. Remove from the oven....

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
