Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Glazed Apples

Fresh sliced apples cooked in butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

2 medium apples, washed, cored, and sliced (I like Jazz and Gala)
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Heat a 10" skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. I usually just slice the apples directly into the pan. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon and stir. Cook about 10 minutes stirring occasionally...

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
