Have you had a Swig cookie or even heard of them? If you live in Utah, you probably have. They are pretty much the best sugar cookie known to man. People drive hours to get one! It is a soft and delicious cookie with a signature rough edge. Now you can make them at home and see why everyone loves them!

1 cup butter ( softened )
3/4 cup coconut oil ( melted )
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp water
2 eggs
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
5 1/2 cups flour
Frosting
1/2 cup butter ( softened )
2 tbsp sour cream
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup milk ( or more to consistency )
red food coloring ( if desired )
