Cranberry Apple Pecan Tart

Tart apples and cranberries in a flaky crust topped with sweet, nutty cinnamon pecan streusel for a delightful, easy to make holiday tart.

1 disk of refrigerated pie dough or your favorite recipe
3/4 cup apple cider
1/2 cup light brown sugar
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup fresh cranberries
1 cup dried cranberries
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1/3 cup Diamond of California Pecans, chopped
1/3 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
whole pecans for garnish, if desired
