This is the BEST Green Bean Casserole Recipe. It\\\\\\\'s creamy and full of bacon, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and French-Fried Onion Rings! The perfect side dish.

1 pound fresh green beans, rinsed, trimmed and halved (if necessary, I didn’t halve mine)
2 slices bacon, diced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (I always buy pre-sliced mushrooms)
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half
1 (2.8 oz) can French-fried onion rings, divided in half
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
