Creamy Lemon Butter Cake

This butter cake is complimented by a light lemon cheesecake which adds a freshness and makes it oh so decadent.

Butter Cake:
1 cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
½ cup butter, softened
2/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
¼ cup sour cream
3 Tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest

Creamy Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
3 Tbsp butter, softened
1 egg
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
½ tsp vanilla
zest of 1 lemon
