Cup of Joe Ice Cream Cake ~ The Plaid & Paisley Kitchen ~ The perfect treat on a hot summer day! Cake, Ice Cream, Pudding frosting. Can you imagine anything better?

1 box instant chocolate pudding {follow directions for how much milk}
1 tub of cool whip thawed
1 box of chocolate cake mix {or use your favorite from scratch recipe}
1 quart of coffee ice cream

make the pudding ahead of time take the ice cream out to melt {frothy not liquidy} make the chocolate cake according to package directions LET COOL COMPLETELY before you slice in half once cooled and sliced...
