Dressing for potato, chicken or macaroni salad

easy and delicious, making a sweet and tangy dressing for chicken salad or potato salad or macaroni salad

1 egg beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons mustard ( yellow)
mix together then add:
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup milk
Cook until thick (about 3-5 minutes in microwave). When dressing thickens, add 1 tablespoon of butter into hot mixture and stir until melted. Cool dressing.
When using, combine 1/2 dressing and 1/2 Miracle Whip. Wisk together, and stir into cooled cooked cubed potatoes or cooked shredded chicken. You can adjust the ratio of dressing to Miracle Whip to your taste.
